Nowadays, it is not considered ugly to dare to show who you are and give your belongings a personal touch. Mini offers a wealth of accessory options to give your car a personal touch.

Having a personal touch on everything around you has grown into a big trend and this of course does not exclude cars. Mini has specialized as a trendy brand for the young, fashion-conscious urban person.

The first Mini arrived in 1959 and quickly became a British icon seen in every imaginable context. It was as good on an English country road as it was on Carnaby Street with skinny Twiggy behind the wheel. Among other things won the Mini Cooper Monte Carlo Rally four times. All kinds of model variants appeared. Sedan, station wagon, van, pickup, beach car. The list can be made longer.

The model was also produced by several companies such as e.g. Morris, Austin, Riley, BMC, Leyland and Rover. But England's car industry was bleeding and in 1994 BMW bought bankrupt Rover Mini. The last old type of Mini was produced in 2000 and in 2001 BMW launched the New Mini which looked the same but was a completely redesigned wagon. 

Introduced in 2010, the Mini Countryman was a whole new era for Mini with its higher ground clearance, four-wheel drive and rawer looks. It is clear that the BMW-owned brand intends to expand the Mini model range and in addition to the usual three-door version there is a cabriolet, a station wagon and finally the new Paceman, a two-door version of the Countryman. Among all versions there are both diesel and sportier Cooper versions. The strongest and sportiest models come from the own tuning workshop and are given the appropriate name John Cooper Works. 

The segment for so-called compact SUVs has completely exploded, the Mini Countryman was one of the early models for this type of car model. Alongside the Countryman we find the Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka, Renault Capture to name a few. What unites these models in addition to their size is that they are aimed at a buyer who does not mind standing out a little extra from the crowd. What also characterizes these cars is the possibility to make them extra personal thanks to a multitude of options for colors, upholstery and various decorations. Among the roof decorations that can be chosen for the Mini Countryman Cooper SD, in addition to the English flag, we also find checkerboards, stripes and even a decoration representing a helicopter landing pad. The rear-view mirrors and turn signal panels on the sides can also be had in the same theme. Other things that can be ordered are rims in different colors together with the brake caliper, which can also be obtained in a personal color. The button for the valve on the tire can be ordered with a black Union Jack pattern.

The frugal and efficient 143 horsepower diesel engine does its job exceptionally well in the Countryman Cooper SD. Comparing it to a rocket would be wrong, on the other hand, even if it is by no means perceived as sluggish. With the sport mode on, this becomes a really fun and fun-to-drive machine. The compact size and slightly higher seating position also have a big impact on the driving experience and a reason why this type of car has become so popular. In the ALL4 version, the Countryman Cooper SD has permanent four-wheel drive. Via an electronic differential lock, the front tires are provided with slightly more power under normal circumstances. If needed, 90 percent of the power can be delivered to the rear tires or all power to the front wheels. However, the terrain characteristics are limited and do not allow advanced off-road adventures. 

It's not just the exterior that you can make your Mini unique. A range of accessories can be attached to the rails that run between the seats. In addition to mobile phone, glasses and drink holders, you can get a specially made napkin holder to name a few. The rails can also change lighting color just like the rest of the interior.
